If you’ve always contemplated what it’d be like to paint ‘happy little trees,’ here’s your chance to realize your dream! Yes, we’re offering Bob Ross painting classes again. The theme this month? “Fall Sunset,” a beautiful scene that will all-too-soon be outside of our windows!

Saturday, August 21, 9:30 – 3:30. Class fee is $45 plus materials. First time students only need to supply their canvas. Material list is available in store. Mark your calendar & register early! Our instructor will guide you through this wonderful oil painting whether you are a beginner, or an experienced painter. This painting is rich in detail & technique. Treat yourself to a creative day!

Don’t forget to join us for t-shirt decorating this weekend!! The fun begins on Friday, July 30 from 4pm-6:30pm, and again on Saturday, July 31, from 10am – 2pm. Kids can stop in and paint, marker, or glitter our ‘Far Out Alien’ or ‘Big Top Clown’ t-shirt designs for only $5. Quantities are limited, so come sooner than later!

Looking for a fun and meaningful summer activity for your kids?

Creative Habitat and United Way invite kids of all ages to join the “Craft United Live United Club.” To help your child become an official member, visit Creative Habitat on Saturday, June 26th, between 10am & 3pm.

All children attending will decorate their own club tee shirt and sign up for a summer volunteer project. Then, each one will be encouraged to scrapbook their experience with a starter pack of scrapbooking supplies provided by Creative Habitat to all club members.

On August 7th, Creative Habitat will showcase the finished scrapbooks and celebrate everyone’s success with an ice cream social! Cost is $10 to join and all proceeds will be donated to United Way of Chittenden County.

There’s still time to register for the Scrap Event on Saturday, June 5, from 10 to 6. The $20 fee will be donated to American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life, and a pizza lunch will be provided by Mamma Mia’s. Plus all participants will receive a Cascading Photo Album from Bo Bunny.
